This past week was not good. Well, that's an understatement. It was awful. It was a week filled with more tears then smiles, more work than not, more hours awake than asleep, and just down right horrible. I had an awful meeting with one of my professors, some of the people at school are becoming nightmares to deal with, there is so much work that you can never get done, and it's just so upsetting. Everything just kind of got to me this week. So, I took the weekend off.
For a law student, taking the weekend off does not mean not doing anything law related; it just means I did a lot less. Yesterday I did a few hours of work on Civil Procedure. The rest of the day, I listened to the rain, ordered pizza, snuggled with my dogs, watched movies, and took much needed naps! Basically, the perfect day! Today was not much different.
Day before yesterday (yes, I am aware that i am writing this backwards LOL). was pretty good too. My last class was canceled so after class, I went to the mall and had lunch with a friend from school. We had so much fun just laughing and shopping. After that, my best friend and I went to a haunted house that I won tickets for on the radio. She is an attorney and shed some light on law school life. It was so comforting to know that she dealt with almost exactly what I am dealing with. It was so great to see her. I had not seen her since my going to law school party.
Anyway, finals are a few weeks away! It's hard to believe. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was putting in my notice at work in preparation for school. Time sure has gone by. I am just so looking forward to Christmas break! We have 3 wonderful weeks off. I have been constantly looking at the airline website and thinking about going to my beautiful Seattle and up to Vancouver to visit my cousins during that time. It might happen... :)
Ok, well I just wanted to update everyone. For those of you that are studying for the LSAT, GOOD LUCK! Test day will be upon you before you know it. Everyone BE KIND to each other. Life is short and that's what makes it precious. Talk to you guys later.
XOXO
Stay Fabulous,
