Q24: Where did you work this summer?
A24: I had an internship working to protect Sharks from finning and I also write legal articles for a local attorney.
Q25: What is the best piece of advice you can give a new 1L?
A25? Do not take anything that anyone says to heart. Take everything with a grain of salt. People, students and teachers alike, will say terrible things to you and it is very upsetting. You have to know that you got here on your own and you are enough. I wish someone would have told me how hard the environment is. Some people are just downright unkind. Get to know some of your professors. There will be those special few who are kind and who guide you down your path of greatness. Lastly, just know that you will feel like you can’t go on but right when you think you are going to break, the semester and finals will be over, :)
Ok guys, I hope everyone enjoyed reading this. I got asked so many questions this past year that I figured that they all would make a great blog post. I remember reading other blogs like this and I loved reading Q & A’s. I hope you all have a great day! I’ll post again soon. Until then…
